The museum boasts over sixty significant boats, ranging from the 8 1/2′ dinghy Nathanael to the 75′ Defiant, built in 1992 for the successful defense of the America’s Cup. The model room contains 500 models reflecting the work of Nathanael Herreshoff.

John DuBois Maritime Museum

A large and unique collection of builders’ models of local craft show the plans used to build a new ship from the model itself. Closed until further notice for maintenance.
