During the Third Anglo-Dutch War, Prince served as a flagship of the Lord High Admiral the Duke of York (later James II & VII.) During the Battle of Solebay (1672) she was in the center of the English fleet that was attacked by the Dutch center led by Admiral Michiel de Ruyter.

The 74-gun ship, which was built in varying configurations, comprised the backbone of the British Navy throughout the Napoleonic Wars.

Friedrich Wilhelm Zu Pferde belonged to the Brandenburg fleet of the “der Große Kurfürst” (the Great Elector), Frederick William. She was completed in 1864. Of typical Dutch construction, she had two decks with 54 cannons and a crew of 200-250 men.

Wasa was a Swedish warship completed in 1628. The ship foundered after sailing about 1,300 m into its maiden voyage.

In 1705 the San Felipe participated in a furious 24 hour long battle between 12 Spanish ships and 35 British ships and was finally captured by the British. But it was very badly damaged from the fires caused by the British fire ships. It went down at sea, with rumors of several tons of gold inside it.
