Red Star Line Museum

Antwerp, Belgium

Two million passengers traveled from Antwerp to North America on board Red Star Line ships. The museum focuses on their stories, that of the Red Star Line that transported them. and that of Antwerp.

Reedville Fishermen’s Museum

Reedville, VA, United States

A local museum focused on the Chesapeake Bay. In addition to the indoor exhibits, the museum operates the buy boat Elva C, the skipjack Claud W. Somers, and a replica barge from 1608. There is a boat shop for new constructions and restorations.

Richardson Maritime Museum

Cambridge, MD, United States

Named after a local boat builder, the museum is dedicated to the craftsmen and culture of the traditional Eastern Shore wooden boat building industry. There is a unique collection of boat models: skipjacks, bugeyes, pungys, log canoes, rams & other vessels used over the years.

Roanoke Island Maritime Museum

Manteo, NC, United States

The Roanoke Island Maritime Museum is a working boat shop offering a look at local and regional maritime heritage through displayed watercraft, exhibits, restoration projects, and traditional skills workshops. Featured at the Museum is the North Carolina Shad boat Ella View, built in 1883.

Sag Harbor Whaling & Historical Museum

Sag Harbor, NY, United States

Dedicated to the town’s past as a prosperous whaling port. It houses the largest collection of whaling equipment in the state of New York.

San Salvadore

San Salvador was the flagship of explorer Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo (João Rodrigues Cabrilho in Portuguese). She was a 100-foot, 200 ton, galleon. The replica, part of the Maritime Museum of San Diego, was completed in 2015.
