Natchez (1869)

by Gene Andes

Categories:

The boat was built with radio-controlled paddle wheels operating independently.  It also had many, many LED lights illuminating the interiors.  However, it never made it to the water and ended up as a static model by taking out the batteries.  The rest of the drive train, lights, etc. stayed in.  The engines were passively driven by the paddle wheel shafts and those in turn driven by a gear box.
