Halve Maen (Half Moon) was a Dutch East India Company ship that sailed into what is now New York in 1609. She was attempting to find a western passage to China.

Halve Maen was built and originally ported in Albany, New York, USA. Citing financial difficulties, the ship was moved to the Netherlands. For the same reasons, her current fate is uncertain. The current local contact expires on April 1, 2020.
