About the Vessel
Albatros was the lead ship in a German class of fast-attack missile boats in operation between 1976 and 2005.
They had 57.8m (189’8″) composite hulls, weighed 398 tonnes, and a 17,700 HP propulsion plant that provided a maximum speed of 40 kts.
They were armed with two 76 mm guns, four MM38 Exocet anti-ship missiles, and two torpedo tubes.
