Presentation
Elsa Sangouard, a senior conservation specialist with the Museum, gave a presentation on the recovery and conservation of the Princess Carolina, a ship buried in the fill along the New York City waterfront in the late 18th century. It included a visit (not part of this recording) to the conservation laboratory to view the ship’s timbers undergoing conservation.
